Used this when moving to designate items that went in one particular location. IT RUINED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS worth of items. It is NOTHING like your standard clear packing tape, although you don’t know that until later. Want specifics? The ADHESIVE locks onto items and will not let go. Used to seal some lids and the adhesive will not come off. It’s like a security tape that is used to show when it has been removed, it leaves red sticky residue on the items. Don’t worry, it gets worse. The RED coloring comes off on EVERYTHING. The back of a new Ethan Allen couch is ruined because it was next to a box with red tape on it. The color rubbed off, even though it wasn’t applied to the couch. If you are thinking about using this for moving, avoid the temptation, learn from my mistake.

This was okay .. I used it for moving so when applied to the boxes it was fine but then I also wanted to put a piece of tape on some furniture with the room name it belonged in and since this tape is transparent and red when I went to remove it from my coffee table, end table, tv stand etc as I went to take it off the transparency of it peeled off and stayed behind and left a red sticker like mark behind I had to clean off luckily the tape was only on there maybe a day or two so I was able to get the excess off. If you left the tape on longer or if it was exposed to heat I don’t know if it would be able to come off

I bought this tape because I am packing to move. Naturally, I bought a good heavy tape for the box bottoms, but this red tape I wanted for one specific purpose. Rather than writing “FRAGILE” over and over again, I just close the top of the box with a single strip of this tape. Anyone who looks at the box instantly knows the contents are fragile. Love it.
